Things to Do in New Orleans at Night
New Orleans keeps late hours. This is a visitor's plan for a night out: the classic stops, where to eat, and where to finish. It's written by the team at Ohm Lounge, so to be upfront, the last stop is ours.
The classic New Orleans night
The French Quarter. The city's oldest neighborhood starts on the far side of Canal Street. Bourbon Street is the famous party strip; the side streets are quieter and worth a walk after dark.
Frenchmen Street.Just past the Quarter in the Faubourg Marigny, Frenchmen is known for its live-music clubs, several on one short stretch, playing jazz, brass bands and more. It's a short cab or rideshare from the Warehouse District.
The Warehouse District and CBD. Upriver of Canal Street, between the French Quarter and the convention center, is home to many of the city's big hotels, and it's where you'll find Ohm Lounge.
